#taglabels

The interminable writers block has struck again, and so the following is something completely left wing for me that perhaps should be consigned to the waste paper basket.

Colour race creed diversity
introvert extrovert opposites
superior inferior, (that’s complex)
genders, male female
categorisation
straight
gay
bisexual
other (exclamation mark).
Do not delete cannot delete,
genetically encoded  D.N.A
programmed to label we’re
classified chromosome X or Y.
Cyber café, searching, found profiles # tag X
blind date (question mark) bio’ # tag Y... send . . .

  1. I too tend to write whatever comes out when I'm blocked. The results can be shocking, amazing, weird, unexpected and occasionally excellent.

An excellent piece of writing Julian. :-)

  9. No, it's interesting and well crafted – and might lead in even more interesting directions if you choose to explore and expand on it.

  11. I love the direction that this list went in. Many of these terms were considered to be rather personal and even unmentionable a mere generation ago. Now they are omnipresent in our everyday lives. Popping amongst these relatively new terms are words that indicate some of the criteria by which we process these terms. I thought this was a fascinating piece.

    1. Wendy, thankyou for your remarks; yes you are quite right about some things being unmentionable a generation ago, still that's progress and where would we be without it. Glad you enjoyed it.
